GG 2017-2019 Contract Info

A significant number of bills passed in the last two sessions that are great for workers’ rights and require MOU’s amending our CBA’s. Here's a quick description and pdf for two of them. We'll add more as they are finalized as MOUs.
  • MOU SHARED LEAVE  -  HB 1434 establishes shared leave for pregnancy disability and parental bonding. ,  effective 7/1/18.   
  • MOU NEW EMPLOYEE ACCESS  -  SB 6229 requires the employer to provide 30 minutes to Unions with each new, represented employee within 90 days, effective 6/7/18 and amends the 2017-2019 GG CBA.
