10/2018

We still have several Demands to Bargain pended at this time regarding changes to classification awaiting a PERC resolution.  While the DTB’s have been pended, people have moved into their new positions. We are reviewing the Wildfire Division Reorganization and the Demand to Bargain this issue is scheduled for November 2nd.   We will be meeting shortly on fire-pay for the upcoming fire season.

We have several Demands to Bargain pended at this time regarding changes to classification awaiting a PERC resolution.  While the DTB’s have been pended, people have moved into their new positions. There was a meeting on August 24th with PERC, WPEA and WFSE to resolve these outstanding issues there was some additional information requested, however it appears this matter will resolved shortly.   

6/2018

We have one Demands to Bargain at this time regarding changes to classification.  We have a PERC issue on hold.  The Union Management Committee met this month.  We discussed two policies, one concerning the use and management of drones to help facilitate employees work in several program areas, and the second centered on a policy regarding the fire program.  Team members were to submit changes by the Monday following our meeting.  We had some discussion regarding the strategic plan for HR, it is still a work in progress.  There was also some general discussion about the cache, availability of masks to filter particulates, on-site monitoring of air quality and sources to do so.

5/2018

We have no Demands to Bargain at this time.  We have a PERC issue on hold.  The next Union Management Committee meeting is scheduled for June.    

4/16/18

We had a DNR UMCC on March 7th.   As usual we met jointly with WPEA.  Topics included the HR Review; Telework Policy, Sick Leave Policy, Strategic Plan Update; The Fire Work Group and current work plus prioritizing future topics; the parking deck – hazard; Bike Storage Lock issues; Professional Licenses; Employee Survey; Contracting; Drivers Program – Allocations; Pay Disparity; Vehicle Use Forms and Take Home Assignments; New Employee Orientation;
